Children’s Offering

CHILDREN’S OFFERING

Our April children’s offerings totaled $137. These funds will be given to the scholarship funds at Inspiration Hills and Lost Timber Bible Camp.  Children’s offerings during the month of May will assist with the “Sweet Dreams” project that will take place during Service Over Self week in June. Everyone is welcome to help the children raise money and support our youth as they build beds for local children without one. Each bed costs approximately $350 to build and furnish. Let’s help lots of local children have sweet dreams!

Adult Discipleship Learning Opportunities

Adult Discipleship Learning Opportunities

The Adult Discipleship Team would like to inform you of some new learning opportunities being offered beginning in April. Take advantage of these great opportunities! No need to register, just come to any study that interests you.

SUNDAY MORNING:

Why Jesus?  –  April 7-28—Ken & Sue Hup will lead a 4 week study on Sundays at 11 AM in the Fellowship Hall. What tough questions do you have about Jesus? Culture is blurring the lines between different faiths. It is increasingly difficult for people to grasp how their faith in Jesus is unique. In these 4 powerful video Bible study sessions, David Nasser addresses the tough questions that people have about Jesus and points them back to the scriptural truths about our Savior.

WEDNESDAY EVENING:

Share Jesus Without Fear  –  April 3-24—Lois Peterson will lead a 4 week study on Wednesdays at 6:45 PM in the Multipurpose Room. Share Jesus Without Fear presents a simple and relational approach to witnessing that underscores the dependence on God’s power for the results. Birthed out of the life-transformation of it’s author, a former brothel-owner turned Christ-follower, this method teaches believers how to navigate a witnessing conversation in everyday situations.

MONDAY EVENINGS:

Intentional Grandparenting  –  April 1-May 20—Deb Wynia will lead a weekly study on Monday evenings at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall starting April 1 and ending May 20. Grand Monday Nights will help you learn how to nurture your grandchildren’s faith and overcome grandparenting obstacles. This class will feature new relevant topics and speakers, testimonies from other grandparents, and practical ideas and information to help you become an intentional Christian grandparent.

Bible Study of the Book of Acts  –  Matt Nath will lead a study on the first and third Mondays of April and May at 7:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room starting April 1 and ending May 20. Class participants will read together through the Book of Acts, pausing to discuss the events and historical context with a focus on the practices of the early church. No outside work required, just bring yourself and your Bible.
