Mike Altena – Pastor (mike@arcluverne.org)
Mike and his wife Vicki began their ministry with ARC in January of 2012. Mike is passionate about helping people discover where God is working in their life and sharing the truth that sets them free. In addition to motorcycling and participation in spiritual renewal retreats, Mike and Vicki enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Becky Ossefoort – Children’s Ministry  (becky@arcluverne.org)
Becky joined the staff at ARC in July 2012. Her love of children and youth shines through her ministry as she coordinates activities and opportunities for 2 year olds through 6th Grade. In her spare time, Becky enjoys being outside with her family as well as reading and gardening.

Darrel & LaDonna Van Aartsen – Sr High Youth Ministry  (youth@arcluverne.org)
Darrel & LaDonna joined the staff at ARC in July 2018 and are excited to work with youth in Grades 9-12 and to share the love of Christ with them.  In their spare time, Darrel & LaDonna enjoy spending time with family and friends and serving their community in various roles.

Brooke Van Essen – Jr High Youth Ministry (brooke@arcluverne.org)
Brooke joined the staff at ARC in September 2024 and is excited to work with the junior high youth in Grades 7-8 and point them to Jesus. Brooke is also our church librarian and loves reading, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying God’s creation.

Vicki Altena – Connections & Assimilation Coordinator (connections@arcluverne.org)
Vicki joined the staff as our Connections & Assimilation Coordinator in April 2021.  Vicki is excited to invite people into a life-changing and ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ by connecting and involving them in the life of American Reformed Church.  She is also eager to make connections in the community through community engagement and service.  Some of Vicki’s hobbies include cooking, baking, leading small groups and enjoying a good bonfire with friends.

Marilyn Uithoven – Visitation Pastor (marilyn@arcluverne.org)
Marilyn joined the staff at ARC in June 2023 as our Visitation Pastor. Marilyn is a great listener and encourager as she visits the elderly, and many who are sick, injured, or find themselves in a crisis situation. She loves spending time with her kids and grandkids, going for walks, gardening, and being outside doing anything.

Erin Jacobsma – Office Administrator (office@arcluverne.org)
Erin joined the staff as Office Administrator in September 2009. In addition to secretarial duties, Erin supports the ministry staff and consistory and provides administrative assistance to all ministries at ARC. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, baking, and reading.

Codie Zeutenhorst – Custodian
Codie joined the staff as Custodian in January 2021. Codie and his wife Jana live in Luverne with their three daughters. He is also the owner and chiropractor at Luverne Health & Wellness. Codie enjoys being with family, watching and playing baseball, relaxing, and traveling.

Maggie Vanderburg – Children’s Ministry Assistant
Maggie joined the staff in August 2023 as Children’s Ministry Assistant. She assists with Sunday School, Pioneer Clubs and anything that involves our elementary students.

Annie Bork – Worship Coordinator
Annie has been working behind the scenes as our Worship Coordinator since February 2022. She is in charge of scheduling our worship leaders and getting everything ready for our Sunday worship service.
