OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are available on the table in the Commons with packing information inside. Shoeboxes will be collected November 16. We will also take an offering that day to purchase agricultural items such as oxen, goats, chicks, etc. for families in need through Samaritan’s Purse. Contact Charla Sandbulte with questions.

Branching out in service. Rooted in grace. Do you enjoy being outdoors and lending a helping hand? Or could you use a little help with yardwork or light outdoor upkeep around your home? Branching Out: Green & Grace Crew is a new ARC service team connecting volunteers with those in our church and community who could use a bit of extra help — trimming bushes, pulling weeds, raking, or other small outdoor projects done with love and grace. DUNAMIS PROJECT CONFERENCE

Are you curious about how we participate with God in what he wants to do in healing individuals, communities, and nations? Have you ever read how Jesus and his disciples did healing ministry and wondered, “Can that still happen today?” If you are curious, need healing, or want to know how to cooperate with Holy Spirit in this type of ministry, please join us for Dunamis Project #4—The Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ. The Conference dates are November 6-9, at the beautiful Swan Lake Bible Camp in Viborg SD. This is the fourth in a series of six Dunamis Project conferences. We will examine Jesus’ healing ministry as our model for praying for many types of healing, including physical, emotional, and spiritual. Theory and practical application help make this dimension of ministry a reality in our own lives and in the Church. We will cover topics like

• Biblical and Theological Foundations for Healing Ministry
• Spiritual, Inner and Relational Healing
• In-depth Inner Healing
• Guidelines for Physical Healing,
• Developing Healing Ministry in the Local Church

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Join Julie Haugom to study and deepen your understanding of the Bible’s core teachings in Genesis 1-11. This study provides a vital foundation, examining significant events such as creation, the fall of man, the great flood, and the tower of Babel. We will meet the first and third Thursdays of the month, 7-9 PM October 2—December 18, in the Multipurpose Room. Bring your Bible and join us for fellowship. Sign up at the table in the Lobby.

PILLOW CLEANING

Friday, October 24, 7:30 AM-3 PM  Have your pillows cleaned, deodorized, sanitized, encased in new ticking, and returned the same day. New feather pillows will also be available for purchase. Proceeds will bless the Lions Club; questions – contact Glenda Schomacker.
