Close-toed shoes, tennis shoes, or dress shoes of all sizes are needed. Sandals, cleats, snow boots, slides, Crocs, and shoes that are dirty or worn-out are not able to be used. Financial donations can also be placed in the blue offering containers at the back of the Worship Center.

VBS Thank you!

We had a MONUMENTAL week at VBS due in large part to so many wonderful people working together to share Jesus with our children. Thank you for the prayers, time given, talents shared, words of encouragement, and all the many donations. We stand in awe of the magnitude of God’s goodness and were overwhelmed at the generosity of everyone’s giving to the School Bench project for the students in Haiti. What an AWESOME GOD!

The 2022 VBS Team – Annie Bork, Missy Buckland, Lindsay Lonneman, Cassie Uithoven, and Becky Ossefoort

VBS Offering for Mission E4

VBS OFFERING

This year’s Vacation Bible School offering will bless Mission E4. With the funds raised, new school benches will be built for their new schools   in Haiti. Benches are meticulously constructed   and cared for because even the smallest splinter can cause serious infection or even death because the students have very low immune systems and struggle to fight even the simplest infection. These benches are built by Haitians and all materials are purchased in Haiti to help their economy as well. Each bench costs $150 to construct. They are      in need of 50 benches this coming year—just $7,500. Wouldn’t it be great if ARC and the VBS students could fund all 50 benches so these Haitian students could learn in a safe environment. If you would like to give to this project, send an offering with your child or grandchild to VBS, bring to the church office, or place in the offering plate next Sunday, June 5.

Rods & Rides

Rods & Rides (motorcycles and classic cars) from NW Iowa are joining us in worship again this summer on Sunday, June 12. The Connections Team thought it would be fun if everyone would drive their motorcycle, classic car, or favorite ride to church that Sunday morning.

After the service all are invited to a grilled gourmet hotdog feed and can enjoy checking out all the great rides in the parking lot! Those who choose to, can join Rods & Rides on the rest of their journey to end with an ice cream treat in Sioux Falls. We encourage everyone to come and join the fun!

If you would be willing to make a potato salad for the event, please sign up at the Connections Center. A recipe will be provided. Thank you!
