The first annual Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast is Friday, May 31, 6:30 AM at the Blue Mound Banquet Center in Luverne. This kick-off event for Luverne’s Buffalo Days weekend features local resident, Terrie Gulden, as guest speaker. The cost for the breakfast is $10 per person and payable at the door.
Facilitator Ken Hup says, “Our mission for this first Prayer Breakfast is to begin to form new relationships with Christian men of various local churches, and then reach out to those around us.”
The Community Men’s Bible Study meets most Friday mornings at 6:30 AM at ARC. This group has been meeting for two years and represents five area churches. Although now in recess, Jim Juhl will lead a new series on the book of Mark beginning June 7.
