December Food Pantry

December is canned meat and stew month! Help bless our community by donating items for the Neighbor To Neighbor Food Pantry. Each family is invited to bring one canned meat item each week and place it in the baskets near the main entrances at ARC. Donations of fresh/frozen meat will also be accepted and will be distributed at the next Washed in Grace on December 21. Contact Vicki Altena to coordinate donations.

Youth Fundraiser – Supper and Auction

Mexican Supper, Challenge and Auction

Tuesday, November 7

Supper served from 5:30-6:45 PM; freewill donation | Live Auction at 7 PM

What is this night all about? Each member of the Sr High Youth Group challenges someone to make a baked item, smoked meat, or jerky. The two items are judged against each other, and the winning entry gets auctioned off in the live auction and the losing entry is offered on a silent auction. Proceeds go towards the youth’s 2024 Mission Trip. Come for an evening filled with good food, fellowship, and make sure to get a bidding number to join in the fun!

Operation Christmas Child

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Pack a Christmas shoebox for a child in need around the world. Shoeboxes are available in the Commons with packing information inside. Shoeboxes need to be returned November 12. For those who are finding your budget doesn’t allow for much extra this year, there is an online “Build a Box” option under Operation Christmas Child at www.samaritanspurse.org. You can pick out items you like and fill a shoebox for $25, or give a donation to help with shipping, or give a donation and share in building a box with others who cannot afford a whole box. We will also take an offering November 12 to purchase agricultural items such as oxen, goats, chicks, etc. for families in need through Samaritan’s Purse. Contact Charla Sandbulte at 507-227-1722 with questions.
