50’s Night

50’S NIGHT  is a SR RCYF fundraiser on Wednesday, June 29, 5:30-7:30 PM.  Come for an evening of good food and good tunes.  Freewill donation will benefit the SR RCYF youth group.

 


VBS 2016 Thank You

Thank you for all the help during our week at Cave Quest VBS!  Whether you helped each day, prayed for us, or simply lent us a hammer or two, you are much appreciated!  We had 136 children attend this year and are confident the Spirit was at work.  Our offering totaled $908.82 for Hope Haven to purchase wheelchairs.  Jana Zeutenhorst and Amy Chapa

 


Children in Covenant Program

CHILDREN IN COVENANT PROGRAM  is Tuesday, June 28, 7 PM, in the ARC Commons.  New babies and new membership children up to age five will be honored.  If you have a child, grandchild, great-grandchild or special someone under the age of 5 that you would like enrolled in Children in Covenant, please call Lorraine Stoel at 283-4537.

 


Prayer Opportunities

VBS Prayer Warriors—Looking for intercessors to be in the prayer room the morning of June 6-10 during Vacation Bible School.  Our hope is to bathe the teachers and children in prayer while they are here.  Prayer guides will be available in addition to prayer requests from the teachers and children.  Sign up at the Narthex table.

SR RCYF Mission Trip Prayer Warriors—A Prayer partner is desired for each student and adult going on the mission trip to Benton Harbor, Michigan, June 11-18.  Sign up at the Narthex table.

 


Salad Luncheon

SALAD LUNCHEON  The Salad Luncheon fundraiser for Talking Bibles International will be Thursday, June 16, 11 AM—1 PM in the Fellowship Hall.  Adults – $6; Children under 12 – $3.  Sign up at the Narthex table to bring a salad or to help at this event.

 


Project Underpanz

PROJECT UNDERPANZ  A volunteer opportunity will be happening on Monday, June 13, 3:00-8:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room.  We will be sewing reusable personal hygiene products and bags for girls in need around the world.  These supplies will help keep girls in school when otherwise an education would be difficult.  Volunteers who can sew are asked to bring their machine if possible; other jobs are also available for non-sewers.  Sign up at the Narthex table; come for all or only a portion of the time.  If you have questions, contact Mary Brown at 507-220-1193.

 


Let’s Ride – June 9

LET’S RIDE!  Rev up your engines – motorcycles, cars, etc., and let’s ride to Brian’s 19th Hole BBQ Pit in Jasper, MN on June 9.  Meet in the ARC parking lot at 6:30 PM.  It’s prime rib night, but you can also order off the menu.  Contact Marcia Boeve-Alfano with questions.

 


Care Packages

Help bless local women at the Southwest Crisis Center with a care package.  Suggested items include soaps, lotions, bubble bath, lip balm, other hygiene items, candy, journal/pen, gas card, devotional book, etc.  Package your items in a basket, small tote, or other bag and bring to the church office or place in the tote in the south hallway before June 12.  Individual items may also be donated.

 


Teens Encounter Christ (TEC)

TEC is an inter-denominational organization designed to promote Christianity into the hearts of teens.  All high school teens are invited to attend a three day retreat, June 24-26, at the American Reformed Church in Luverne.  Teens will have an opportunity to know God, grow in their faith, and make many new friendships with people who are wild about Christ!  Registration forms are on the Narthex table or available online at crossroadstec.com.  For more information, contact Randy Sasker at 605-261-4050.

 


Home Delivered Meals

Feed the needy hungry in June with Home Delivered Meals.  To volunteer, please choose a date from the calendar at the Narthex tableThe meals are picked up at the downtown Luverne Senior Dining at 11:30 AM and local delivery usually takes about an hour.
