UNDY SUNDAY

Place donations of new socks and undies (all sizes) in the basket by the mailboxes before December 1. Items will be given to SHARE, a Rock County Christmas distribution program.

MEXICAN SUPPER AND BAKE-OFF

The Sr RCYF Mexican Supper and Bake-off Challenge is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2. A Mexican supper will be served from 5:30 to 7 PM. If you don’t care for Mexican, good old American food  will also be available. The live auction of baked goods will begin promptly at 7 PM; new this year is a smoked meats category. Come support our youth and enjoy a fun night. If you would like to be challenged, please contact Darrel or LaDonna Van Aartsen.

CONGREGATION MEETING

The annual Congregation Meeting will be Monday, November 15 at 7 PM. Two Elders and two Deacons will be elected to serve a three year term from January 2022 through December 2024. Elder Nominees are Dale Bosch, Jim Ouverson, Warren Sandbulte, and Kent Vander Lugt. Deacon Nominees are Matt Buntjer, Jason Fick, Randy Hoogland, and Matt Nath. Absentee ballots are available in the church office.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Yes, it’s that time of year already. We are offering a variety of boxes that are available in the Commons. Boxes can also be “packed” online at www.samaritanspurse.org. Shoeboxes need to be returned November 14. We will also take an offering that day to purchase agricultural items such as oxen, goats, chicks, etc. for families in need through Samaritan’s Purse. JOY CLASS

CHILDREN’S OFFERING

Our September offering of $100 is on its way to help with earthquake relief in Haiti. Thank you for your part in helping our brothers and sisters in Christ in their time of need.
