The SR RCYF youth will host the movie, The Christmas Candle, at the Palace Theater, Sunday, December 8, 2 PM and Monday through Friday, December 9-13, at 7 PM. This timeless and inspirational story based on the novel by bestselling author, Max Lucado, is a movie the whole family can enjoy.
Deep in the heart of English countryside lies the enchanting village of Gladbury. Legend has it every 25 years an angel visits the village candlemaker and touches a single candle. Whoever lights the candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve.
But in 1890, at the dawn of the electric age, this centuries old legend may come to an end.
